January 31, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA – Celebrity supporters are ready to ante-up at the 7th Annual Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowling and Poker Tournament to benefit A Place Called Home (APCH), on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM, at the PINZ Bowling & Entertainment Center in Studio City, CA.
Initial celebrities confirmed to attend include Pete Wentz (Musician/Producer/Entrepreneur/Activist), Nick Cannon (Television Personality/Actor/Musician), Ozomatli (Grammy Award Winning Group and U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassadors), Jasmine Villegas (Epic Records recording artist), Benny Blanco (Producer/Songwriter for Rihanna, Maroon 5), W3 The Future (recording artist), T. Mills (Columbia Records recording artist) and Sammy Adams (Musician).
Tickets are on sale now for the all-ages high energy benefit which features 34 lanes of bowling action, a No-Limit All-In Texas Hold’em professional-level poker tournament, delicious food courtesy of Whole Foods Market, drinks, the excitement of celebrities on the red carpet and much more.
The annual Stars & Strikes event raises funds and awareness for APCH, a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles which supports underserved inner-city youth and empowers them to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, the arts, nutrition, fitness, college preparation and college scholarships.
