JACOB’S CREEK HONORS USA PHILANTHROPIST’S ‘TRUE CHARACTER’

MEDIA RELEASE – Adelaide, Australia

An LA-based philanthropist dedicated to inspiring change around the world, will be flown to Australia to visit the home of Jacob’s Creek™ after being named a USA ‘True Character’ by the iconic wine brand.

Founder and President of Thirty-Three Productions, Inc., Christine Hansen has dedicated her life to producing festivals, tours and special benefit events in support of humanitarian causes, to inspire change and drive global awareness of important social issues.

From her early days working in radio, Christine was motivated to leverage her network to produce charity events to bring “Dreams to Reality” for people around the world. While these started off fairly small with crowds of a few hundred, Christine stayed true to her vision, working tirelessly with countless organizations to raise awareness of important causes through live events and charitable campaigns of local and global scope. As a career highlight, she was honored to be the US Executive Talent Producer for former South African President Nelson Mandela’s first World Aids Day concert, which was performed live for nearly 60,000 people and broadcast worldwide on December 1st, 2007.

As a result of her work, Christine has raised millions of dollars for numerous respected charities worldwide and has become globally recognized for her mission to merge the power of music, art and media to unite the world and affect change.

In recognition of her tireless efforts, Christine will receive a trip for two to Australia as part of Jacob’s Creek’s ‘True Character’ campaign, which invited wine lovers throughout the United States to nominate themselves or a friend via their own ‘Stay True’ story.

Christine’s relentless drive, dedication and remarkable fundraising efforts resonated with Jacob’s Creek, having enabled her to make tremendous contributions to leading philanthropic organizations, including; The 46664 Campaign on behalf of The Nelson Mandela Foundation, The United Nations Association, Rock the Vote, The Peapod Foundation, A Place Called Home, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles and many more.
“From my early days in radio I have always strived to stay true to myself and my dreams for the world,” said Christine. “To travel to Australia and experience the beautiful wine and stunning environment just for doing what I love, is incredible, and further inspires me to continue on my mission of bringing Dreams to Reality for all”.

Christine was nominated by her longtime friend Lisa Graham who said, “I’m in awe of Christine; she is one of those rare people who uses her passion to fuel her life. To be personally thanked by Mr. Mandela for all her work in South Africa and her promise to keep his legacy alive, alongside her continued work to realize the goals of the many charities she serves… all of these elements are indicative of her unwavering dedication to supporting the human spirit.”

It’s a view shared by Jacob’s Creek Marketing Director, Jo Adamo.

“The calibre of entries we had for this promotion was exceptional, however Christine’s nomination was a standout, she is an incredibly inspirational person. Congratulations to Christine for her work and for always staying true.”
