BILLBOARD: BT, HOOVERPHONIC TEAM FOR FALL TOUR

BT and Hooverphonic will tour North America this fall as part of audio company Jensen’s JENSENERGY tour, set to kick off Sept. 28 in Austin, Texas, and wrap Nov. 6 in Vancouver. Each show will feature a technology pavilion sponsored by InterAct, featuring demonstrations of new electronic products. The tour will also pay an Oct. 20 visit to the annual CMJ Music Marathon at the Roxy in New York.

BT (real name: Brian Transeau) is touring in support of his new Nettwerk album “Movement In Still Life,” which is at No. 16 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart this week. Hooverphonic’s third Epic album “The Magnificent Tree,” is due Sept. 26. “Renaissance Affair,” a cut from the band’s 1998 set “Blue Wonder Powder Milk,” can currently be heard soundtracking a Volkswagen commercial.
