VENTURA, Calif., March 17, 2010 – Beer from the nation’s finest craft brewers and cuisine from the Gold Coast’s finest chefs will converge on the beautiful San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura, California during Father’s Day Weekend on Saturday, June 19th 2010, to celebrate the first annual Salute! A Festival to Celebrate Finely Crafted Beer & Food. This beer and food lifestyle event will include live music and take place from 1pm – 5pm, with a special limited-ticket VIP Tastemaker reception from 11am – 1pm where VIP guests will meet with brewers and have exclusive access to limited edition brews and a special VIP Tastemaker lounge area.

The event will highlight the rapidly growing craft beer scene in the U.S. with over 50 different breweries showcasing their best brews, and feature some of the region’s finest cuisine. The partnership between Presenting Sponsor, Ojai Beverage Company and Executive Producer, Thirty-Three Productions, Inc. inspire this festival to become a premier food and beverage event, in a class of its own. “The marrying together of fine food and unique beer in one beautiful location, is the realization of a great dream of mine,” said Joby M. Salute! General Admission tickets are $50 in advance and $60 beginning June 1st, 2010. For $125 in advance and $135 on June 1st and after, guests can purchase a VIP Tastemaker ticket, which also includes early entry for a two-hour private reserve beer tasting with invited brewers, special beer and food pairings and exclusive access to a private VIP lounge area before and during the general admission session. VIP Tastemaker access, which is limited to 500 people also provides exclusive access to Salute! breweries one hour prior to the festival gates opening.
