Stars & Strikes for A Place Called Home (APCH)

Stars & Strikes for APCH was created to harness the power of the music & entertainment industry to create a fun, youth driven event that has raised more than $800,000 for APCH’s free programs with a focus on the teens; providing recreation, field trips, academic tutoring, college preparation and college tours for hundreds of South Central teens, many of whom have gone on to break negative cycles and be the first in their families to attend college.

The annual Stars & Strikes event raises funds and awareness for APCH, a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles which supports underserved inner-city youth and empowers them to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, the arts, nutrition, fitness, college preparation and college scholarships.
